Information about Brand Logos
Corporate brand
logos
Coca-Cola’s logo is their name in a special
font, white on a red background that is very easily recognizable. This
is called a logotype. The Cingular logo, however, is an emblem. A good
way to tell the difference is to imagine how it would look on a flag.
Brand slogan
Now… you have quality, image, reputation, a
brand name, and a logo. What else? Something vocal, catchy, and
positive.
History of brand logos
In a world just adjusting to the idea of
mass-produced goods, ways to tell the difference between one product and
another became a little more important.
Modern Logos
With so many thousands of multinational
organizations, let alone nationwide and local, the number of logos is
staggering. Logotypes have become more popular.
Logo design
One of the hardest parts about marketing a
brand or a product is finding a suitable logo for it. Believe it or not,
it’s more then simply throwing a couple letters in with a neat image and
calling it done.
